Terry Booty is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Urban Farmers Inc., overseeing all aspects of development, P3 joint ventures, and acquisition. Prior to founding the firm, he was a Development Manager for Marriott International, where he developed more than $250 million of real estate. His passion for the built environment has given him the unique ability to deliver quality projects in highly scrutinized communities, successfully bridging the gap between corporate objectives and community needs. Terry holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed an Executive Education Program in Real Estate at the University of Southern California.
Jerrell Harris serves as Vice President for Urban Farmers Inc. As a principal planner for high-growth cities like the City of Riviera Beach, he developed the skills to manage entitlements that achieve UFINC's goals. He began his career at leading universities working in student affairs before transitioning to urban planning for local governments. Originally from Albany, Georgia, he holds a bachelor's in Sociology and a master's in Urban Policy Studies from Georgia State University. In 2013, Jerrell moved to Detroit as a Revitalization Fellow at Focus: HOPE, where he created a comprehensive vision for redevelopment across the 100-block HOPE Village area.
Toussaint Pierre is the Director of Underwriting for Urban Farmers Inc. A veteran in commercial real estate, he has led investment teams for Seminole Real Estate Fund, The Kislak Organization, and Auction.com. In these roles he prepared underwriting financial models, negotiated deal terms, and structured long-term and short-term financing for acquisitions, construction, and refinancing. He is also pivotal in sourcing limited partner equity from institutional sources. Toussaint holds a Juris Doctor and a BS in Accounting, both from Southern University.
Nicole Scott is the General Counsel of Urban Farmers Inc., instrumental in implementing the company's strategic and long-range goals. She brings deep legal and leadership expertise from the non-profit and education sectors. She has served as Chief of Employee Solutions & Legal Affairs at KIPP: Los Angeles Schools and as SVP of Talent and General Counsel at the Inner City Education Foundation. She began her career as an associate at Cochran, Cherry, Givens & Smith PLC and has worked with Sony Pictures, DreamWorks Pictures, and the William Morris Agency. She holds degrees from Spelman College and UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
Chikia Wright is the backbone of UFINC. As Project Manager she manages all job costs, including contractor payment requisitions, engineering requisitions, change-orders, and vendor payments. She supports senior leadership with monthly cash flow projections to ensure each project is properly resourced, and assists field management with timely procurement of materials. The former Program Director of Youth Services International and a resident of Hallandale Beach, FL, Chikia holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Alcorn State University. Her passion for her community resounds in her ability to lead.
Terrence McLaney is the Project Coordinator at Urban Farmers Inc. With over a decade of experience in financial services and real estate investment, he brings a unique blend of expertise in branding, marketing, and client relations. At NYLIAC/NYLife Securities he executed strategies for client acquisition and growth, and at W. E. De Vine & Company he managed renovation projects and evaluated investment opportunities. His leadership roles at Northwestern Mutual and Target further enhance his ability to drive UFINC's mission. Terrence is pursuing the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation and holds a B.A. in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley.
